Enjoyable podcast on an infamous murder and Agatha Christie herself
The 8 episodes flew past due to an engaging host and a myriad of interviews casting new light and theories on the actual trial and Agatha Christie’s life. Made for an US audience but that hardly makes a difference.

History or entertainment !
My first audiobook experience, very engaging and brilliantly recorded, couldn’t wait for the ending. Not sure about the ending as would’ve preferred a more interesting conclusion about the case.

A total gem! Recommend a listen.
This is one of the best things I’ve listened to in a while. So well put together. The cross over and linking of previous cases in history to Agatha’s writing and her life was really well done. I learned a lot too about British murder mystery writers. The narrator’s voice was lovely to listens to and brought it all to life. I can not recommend this enough to someone to listen to. Would love to hear more from this creator.

Fascinating and Gripping Listening
Firstly Joe Nocera has a wonderful narrative voice that is so very easy to listen to. With this he tells the true story of Major Armstrong who was convicted and hanged for the murder of his wife in 1922. The circumstances have all the hallmarks of a small country town mystery, so beloved of Agatha Christie and her contemporary crime novelists.
How and his editor cleverly inter-weave fact, supposition, rumour with the construction of the perfect "murder mystery" so popular in the inter war years.
Was Major Armstrong guilty? Or was he the victim of a heinous miscarriage of justice? The fact that his story is still known and told in the small town in the heart of the countryside says much for the questions that prevail.
Dame Agatha - and I think Miss Jane Marple - would have thoroughly enjoyed the chase that Joe leads his listener on.

Just brilliant.
I was hooked on this from the start and listened to the eight episodes in the same day while driving and working. Mr Nocera’s performance was first class and he managed to inject some humour too.

MAGNIFICENT!
I was hooked from the very first line. I loved the various interactions and points of view.
Each chapter gave depth, tension, mystery and encouragement to find out more.
Well narrated, perfectly scripted... beautifully flowing.
I love Agatha Christie even more... ❤️and I am intrigued by your journey in research. Inspiring.
I fully recommend this.

Very Interesting
I found this audiobook very interesting. It has encouraged me to do some of my own research into the Dandelion Poisoning, as I love true crime. I have also finished the audiobook wanting to read an Agatha Christie book, which I have had no previous interest in
