Absolutely fascinating
I stumbled upon this. i am an aspiring but stymied writer with an interest in history, crime, and fiction. I found the whole series fascinating, and it was beautifully and cleverly put together, intertwining a real life crime mystery with the real life of such a prolific crime writer. I loved it.

Easy to listen to and entertaining podcast
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast, I wanted something easy to listen to whilst painting the house, I’ve never read any Agatha Christie but I want to now. It was an interesting listen.

Enjoyable, Informative
Enjoyed the blend of the real life murder case and learning more about Agatha Christie's life. Balanced mix of interviewees. Enjoy Joes narration, his enthusiasm came through without detracting from the history

2 great subjects but not together!
A good listen. 2 different subjects which stood on their own merit and were worth listening to.
But, for me, the attempts to make the 2 subjects run parallel or relate to each other failed miserably.

An entertaining podcast series
From all I know about the case in question there is no doubt that Herbert Armstrong was guilty of killing his wife. From this series of shows it's clear he did not get a fair trial. The two are not mutually inclusive. He may well have helped her commit suicide but all evidence points to him. The presenter of the shows does not agree with me but I don't think he posed a good enough argument to change my mind.
Agatha Christie is a very interesting person and this review of her life and work was very entertaining.
Overall a good series of shows and would recommend it to Christie lovers.

Agatha Christie AND true crime!
This podcast is researched & presented so well. I was a bit concerned very English subject matter was being presented by an American, but Nocera & his producer handled it all expertly. The links between Christie’s life & writing and the story of Armstrong and his wife intertwined well and many avenues surrounding the poisoning case were carefully explored. Thoroughly enjoyed & it & didn’t want to get to the end.
