Summary

twists and intrigue
Another great book by my new found author. I really enjoyed the storyline. It kept me guessing til the end.
Another great performance by Caroline, although the Scottish accent needs some work! can't wait for the next book.

Absorbing read
I couldn’t get into this at first but wanted to persist as I liked the first book
And in the end it didn’t disappoint lots of great twists and turns and interesting how good detection can come from the smallest of little leads
I like the narrator but agree with others the Scottish accents are a wee bit painful
Fortunately not too many Scottish characters in the book 😉

Not all bad
Dear God, that supposed Scottish accent is horrific! I want to stab a pencil in each ear so I can't hear it again.
Please employ someone who has or can speak with a Scottish accent for characters the narrator can't put a voice to.

I wouldn’t rate as highly as the first book but still very enjoyable. I wish it was more linked to the previous book but this is a story of its own with the same characters.

Brilliant
Brilliant twists and turns. Caroline Lee is the best ever narrator.
The story was very good, very believable.

Such a good story
I love the details in AT’s books. Narration good. Great red herrings, twists and turns and substance and background to the story. Really absorbing and kept an hour listening remaining for days, to listen at the right time - as I didn’t want the book to finish! Onto the next AT book…….
