Summary

Before dementia furthers its grasp as it embarks upon its dreadful journey within Ralph Reynolds, he takes a journey of his own. Convincing his loving son, Mathew, and estranged daughter Lizzie to accompany him, they travel from the Northwest of England to the Scottish town of Oban, hoping to bring them closer together. Staying in the Harrowby Hotel and meeting some of the local characters like Duncan, Natasha, Gil and the elusive Rory, little did his children know magical things happen in Scotland. Though Lizzies cheating husband is finding the opposite on his latest escapade. And for all of us, there is always...Another Place….

Wonderful

What a wonderful book. Completely unexpected. such warm, honest writing. I loved Ralph and his family's journey from beginning to magical end.
