Superb
Skillful narration of a captivating story. I'm a bit bereft now it is finished, though I raced through it, unable to stop. It was my first Liz Nugent book, but won't be my last.

I loved the ending, the author was peace enough to avoid the happy ending. Which is good, because life rarely works that way

couldn’t stop listening!
I have never reviewed before but felt compelled to share as I can’t remember not be able to stop listening to any story like i did this!
witty, dark humour, gripping and intelligently written! The performances made the whole story.

Highly recommend
This was an outstanding book. I’m not generally a fan of this sub-genre - I won’t say too much about this so as not to spoil Sally Diamond’s back story - however, this book really was both well written, well narrated and had an incredible story.

Gripping
I couldn’t put it down. It was uncomfortable reading in places but the story was so well written & the narrators really brought the characters to life. It was recommended to me & I recommend it to you.

Best book in ages
I had lost my audiobook mojo but this one engaged me right from and start and all the way through. Great story and great narration. I am very sad it has ended.

A well written story about paedophilia and trauma.
It's a sad and dark story about peadophilia and trauma. I couldn't stop listening though, it's so well written. And the narration is excellent.
Why I gave the story-part 4 stars is because I didn't like the ending at all. Will it be a sequel? The story really need a satisfactory ending.
