Tales of horror from one of the masters of the genre. Peter Meredith delivers stories that will keep you devouring them one after another. From the Pen - a gift that just keeps on killing, to "The Eyes in the Storm" - a beast that feeds on those who dare to go out when nature is at its cruelest, to "The Haunting at Red Feathers" - a true haunting that has the young couple trapped in the woods with a demonic presence, begging: "Don't let the night catch me here!"
Seven tales in all come from the butcher's block and that includes "The Witch: Jillybean in the Undead World".
What is more terrifying than a mad woman who is snatching up the children of Rippling, Missouri in order to breed the perfect zombie? A seven-year-old girl with fly-away brown hair and a gift for destruction.

"I have found a new Author"
Excellent read. Jilly Bean will leave you wanting to read more of his work. Narration was spot on. Totally enjoyable and keeps your interest.
"GREAT BOOK !"
it was an absolute awesome book. Peter Meredith is the new king of Horror. which story was better than the previous. highly recommend this title.
he paints a situation I love getting lost in. and when it's over I thirst for more
"Nice, neat little horrifying short stories."
I really enjoyed these stories. The literature was great so was the narrator. I highly recommend to any horror fan.
"Dull, unimaginative storytelling."
The reader was good but the material was so thin and dry Morgan Freeman couldn't have saved it.
It's not often I give up a book but three-quarters of the way through it I was done.
"A Little Slow in Places But Still a Good Read"
I really liked the story lines in this book, but I found the pace a little slow. The stories were interesting, and I wanted to keep listening to find out what happened next, but I frequently wanted what happened next to happen a little quicker. On a side note, I found the criticism of the character Jen Kidd to be amusing. I have personally known women like her, so I know that the character is as real as you can get.
