Summary
The Now is inseparable from who you are at the deepest level. It is the prerequisite of Being. As you listen to the words on this tape, you participate in the retreat. To "retreat" means to step back - not only from the outer world, but also from the world in your head, the thinking mind. Allow the sound of the words to take you beyond words and beyond sound to the stillness within. Allow the Now to be as it is and so realize the formless essence of the Now as consciousness itself.

excellent retreat!
This was just wonderful. felt I was there with everyone. and eckhart is so FUNNY! Loved it and will listen to it again. Recommended!

Organic life teachings
Thanks to Eckhart and the Universe for such wholesome and organic discussions . The question session was very relevant and practical. I love humour with which Eckhart communicates with his audience. I will read this book again and I do recommend it .

A Must Have for Tolle Fans
This is a live performance recorded at a seminar. Eckhart Tolle is a fine and eloquent public speaker and spiritual teacher. I find his audiobooks calming and helpful. This title is no exception. It gets me to focus on the here and now and brings peace into my life. He is totally without ego which is incredibly rare and refreshing. The only downside to listening to a live recording is that some of the audience like the sound of their own laughter and are inappropriately noisy but that does not happen a lot and there is something refreshing about listening to a live performance from such an inspiring and genuinely humble man. Well worth a listen.

Deep appreciation for what Eckhard brings.
A voice of sanity reminding me of what is really important. I listen to this again and again as the content is so rich. What Echard says is so obvious, yet it takes time and practice to really get hold of this new way of being. I find the way he speaks - and pauses - calming and a good role modelling for staying present while sharing content.

Powerful insights but requires patient listening
It felt almost like being at the retreat so it was a very calm and profound listening experience although as Tolle speaks so slowly I listened at 1.25 speed
I found the constant inappropriate laughter from the man in the audience really irritating. This was the only downside

Enlightening Fun Lessons!
Extremely insightful and enlightening lessons.
It is the most atypical Audiobook I have bought so far, being a live recording of Eckhart speaking at a re-treat.
The deepest of knowledge was made light and simple, and almost comical ... made me laugh a lot at the jokes and myself as well.
