Profound and thought provoking
Eckhart aim to address some very painful areas in this book written just after 9/11. Some people whether as a result of 9/11 or through other means, such as myself, may be struggling with the loss of dear ones. They may have choose this book as a balm to move forward and be seeking reassurance which Eckhart always provides. The constant cackling of some audience members is highly insensitive, very condescending and smug. If you can mentally blank out the constant laughing then it's very much worth persevering with.

Straight to the heart.. Now!
Dear Eckhart is always spot on. He describes all the ‘ways’ identity is fighting to survive life in trauma.
I highly recommend any of Eckhart’s pointing’s. He provides such depth that is overlook again and again, missing our very true nature which is always available through grace.

More sombre than Eckhart's other 'retreats'.
It is explained early on that this retreat happened to take place a few days after the events of 9/11, and it does show.
His tone is more sombre and it takes about 5 hours in for Eckart to be more like himself on his other retreats.
I have had the pleasure to listen to 3 more of his, on Audible and this was my least favourite.
However, as always expect Eckhart to dwell and delve into the importance of Presence and the Now, even more so in this one, hence the title.
His humour shines through in the last 3rd of the 11 hour long retreat.
But overall, I found this one a little too repetitive, as well as missing the relaxing music and meditative interludes heard in some of his other recordings.
Thank you Eckhart for all the work you share via audio as well as your written books.
(PS: I recommend his many long youtube videos too).

WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!
This retreat recording is the most powerful and life changing message I’ve ever heard! I will listen over and over again, until I finally achieve the courage to give up my resistance to ‘what is in this moment ‘ and to embrace it. Thank you Eckhart, you’ve reached me like no other.

The time is now...
This should be taught in schools and universities! The secret of life revealed! Eckhart Tolle is a master in the field of self realisation and finding inner freedom, peace and ultimately happiness. When we surrender to the now, the miracle of life has space to reveal itself. One of my favourite audio books ever this one...

The great lightness of being.
This is wonderful recording of people meeting just after the terrible events in New York some years ago.
A signpost to feeling differently about life events.
Get it.
