Resilience of Body and Mind
This book is a very good guide to achieving the mentality and attitude needed to excel as a young athlete. It contains man powerful elements such as goal setting, an invincible mindset, and emotional energy. The approaches are ones that will develop real character and self-actualization. There are levels of higher self-awareness and connectedness to things in the world. I’d highly recommend it for an athlete especially to have the mental toughness to reach their goals.

Everyone needs this book
When playing competitive sports, there is a certain level of toughness that you have to have. It’s not just the physical and athletic toughness but also the mental. When playing competitively, the coaches, parents, and other athletes add a lot of pressure that you as an athlete to be the best and perform a certain way. I played competitive sports when I was younger, and the intensity of practice and the games can be overwhelming. There are many benefits to playing competitive sports, and understanding how to align your mind to help drive you is huge.
Mental toughness is not just about athletes. This carries over into all aspects of life and at all stages of life. As you get older, many factors in life can try to drag you down and create chaos. I work in a high-demand field, and if you do not have thick skin and mental capability to handle the stress, chaos, and many tasks being thrown your way, you will fold.
I believe this book would be great to market to people with anxiety. Fears create anxiety, and by conquering those fears and training your mind to handle them, what’s real and what’s not, would help address anxiety.
I plan on having my 17-year-old listen to this book as she is a self-doubter, and having her go through this book would be beneficial as she gets closer to adulthood.

A must listen book by young athletes and parents
I absolutely loved listening to this book. It has highly motivational content for budding young athletes but the principles outlined apply not only to athletes but everyone in general and easily applicable in daily life. The techniques I loved most were visualization and mindfulness, and I am going to apply them sincerely in my life. The stories of athletes like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson are really inspirational. Overall this is a must listen book by young athletes, parents and coaches and I highly recommend it.

From Zero To Hero
This is a book about SUCCESS. It's all about the young athlete on the way to glory. Inside each and every young athlete is a GIANT waiting to get out, this book will bring out your inner GIANT. The mind and body work together, if you fill your head with "can't do it" stories, you won't get the success you want.
This book is well-written and presented well. The narration is clear and dynamic and is like having your own personal trainer. Stay clear of toxic people is one of the messages in the book, clear out the clutter from your life and mind. I really enjoyed this book 5 Stars.

Great Resource for Young Athletes
I highly recommend this book for young athletes. It talks about many features of becoming a strong athlete including dealing with adversity, learning to be resilient and changing your mindset to achieve your goals. I love how the author incorporates meditation and spiritualism in the quest for success as an athlete. I also like how he gives examples of famous athletes and all the obstacles they had to overcome to achieve their goals. The narrator also has a nice strong voice.

Good book for your kids!
This is a great little listen for all of our teens who participate in any competitive endeavor. The author actually explains how it feels when emotions are building when a person isn't always a "winner." He talks about redirecting frustration and anger towards that next workout or towards practicing just a bit more. I like the story in the book about the kid that struggled to make the team, but kept working. Then he finally made the team but sat on the bench and passed out water bottles. But continued working hard and never gave up. This was the story of Michael Jordon. Now the author in no way says anyone who works hard will be the next Michael Jordon, but the point was clear that hard work and dedication can get you far. If you have a kid that gets down on himself easily or tends to want to quit when they take a loss, this is the perfect book for them.
