Summary
"Willst du mal eine krasse Geschichte hören?" - so beginnt eine der Geschichten in den "Kurzen Interviews mit fiesen Männern". Die "fiesen Männer" (und Frauen) sind bei Wallace eher einsame Sprachbesessene, die ihre monströsen Macken ohne Rücksicht auf Regie und Einschaltquoten im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes vor sich ausbreiten. Und was man da zu hören bekommt, sind wahrlich unangenehme Geständnisse. Wie schon in "Schrecklich amüsant - aber in Zukunft ohne mich" präsentiert sich Wallace als äußerst eigenwilliger Erzähler, der mit staunenswerter Leichtigkeit Stimmen und Register wechselt und immer für eine Überraschung gut ist.
