Book was better than I’d imagined, well read
Story was well paced, and though the language difficult at times it was easy to follow and exciting. Well read as well.

Excellent
Simply outstanding! Great story. Insight into the Scottish history and character. Perfect example of Stevenson’s genius as a storyteller and one of the best adventure writers of all times.

A wonderful Highland story 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Kidnapped is a fabulous story full of anticipation and excitement I enjoyed it even more because I know a lot of the locations mentioned and very well narrated by Fredrick Davidson who uses a multitude of different voices to keep the listeners engaged in short well worth listening too 💯📕📖📚✌️❤️

Well read
Brilliantly read. Much easier than reading it myself and trying to imagine the accent! Listened to it with my ten year old who exited it too.

Interesting voice given to David Balfour
The words obviously are the authors but the voice of Davie is quite effeminate. The story is excellent and the the other characters are all voiced well.

Excellently Read
Excellently read although might have been difficult to understand if I wasn't Scottish. Even more interesting to find out that Alan Breck Stewart was a real person.

Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson
I thought this was excellent. Didn't speak a word of Gaelic but hoot hoot I've nae doubt picked up a few reading this. The voices are brilliantly done (though our hero David Balfour can sound a little shrill at times) and the narration is clear and strong, making the quite complicated history easy to follow, though I did have to rewind a few times to get some of the names! My favourite bit was David after a shipwreck stuck on a little outcrop in the stormy sea, it's cold and raining and he has neither shelter nor food and is desperate to get away. I was right there with him!
