Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
David and Cheryl Baskin are living the dream—married, a beautiful new house in the suburbs, a three-year-old son named Matthew—when tragedy strikes in the worst way possible.
David awakes to find himself covered in blood... but not his own, his son's. While David is sure he did not murder his son, the overwhelming evidence against him puts him behind bars indefinitely.
Then, five years following his imprisonment, his wife's sister brings David a photograph of Matthew looking very much alive, accompanied by an unknown figure.
Can David escape prison, find Matthew and bring him home?
The consequences are dire, but prospect of being reunited with his son is way too tempting to resist.
Soon David is on the run. But it soon transpires that he knows way too much, and that there are people out there who will do anything to silence him. For ever...

Kept me listening
I loved this, I listened non stop for the first 7 hours, as soon as I was awake I listened to the remaining 3 and a bit hours. Great narration by Steven Weber. Very well written by Harlan, kept me fixed to the end. I won't give away any spoilers so I won't share my most memorable part. I whole-heartedly recommend this book.

A good 'read'
Plot was a bit predictable, but it kept my attention. Narration was excellent. How the narrator imitated old and young, men and women was amazing.

Brilliant narration
Steven Webber’s narration was perfect. I love Harlan Coben’s books and this one doesn’t disappoint. I dropped a star for the story because there was a little repetition that irritated me a bit. Probably because I was just wanting the story to get on! Well worth listening to.

Another greqt coben.
Have not read a book by this author for a while however i have always enjoyed his work. This one did not disappoint, i thought the story had a lot of twists and turns. I figured a lot out before the end however it did not take away my enjoyment. Going to get back into this author again for sure.

Love Harland Coben
I have loved every single book by Harland Coben and this one was no exception. I started reading his books some years ago because he was my little bit of home. I was born and brought up in Pleasantdale just a few miles from where i grew up but having said this even if his home was 3000 miles away his books are outstanding.

Exciting till the end
Really clever how it all fitted together at the end. Sad, clever, hopeful and engaging all at the same time.

Very different, well read.
I love the story it was different to a lot of others I have read. I disagree with the person who said the FBI detectives were cheesy. If you know anything about Autism then you would put Max on the high functioning autistic spectrum. I could be totally wrong but that was how I saw it.
