Well-researched and full of clarity on the subject

I found this book interesting and informative. The author brought clarity to the subject.
I think that someone without a background in science could still understand this book.
Perfect narration. A pleasure to listen to.

An amazing book

I have read dozens of books about mental health and how to improve our brain's capabilities and this book stands out the most. The author is very knowledgeable and friendly, which shows greatly in her performance.

She gives proper advice on how to improve our brain's health after explaining in detail why we should do them.

Would totally recommend.

excellent for long term mental health solutions

a great book that needs several listens, it provides easy and practical advice on how to give yourself the best chance of long term, and positive mental health change.

a compassionate, and technical view, that allows gradual, and permanent changes...as long as you put the work in.

Very informative and helpful!

Firstly, the book is narrated by the author, and she has a lovely voice, so that's always a win. The material is very informative and she gives a lot of examples and strategies of how to implement changes in ways that are not overwhelming.

I would have loved a longer book with even more info and research, because I'm fascinated by the subject (and interested for multiple health reasons), but I think that might have put some people off, so the length and depth of this book is probably just right for most people.

Highly recommend!

Thank you, Kimberley Wilson!

So grateful for this incredibly thoughtful, careful and nuanced book. Wilson incorporates the latest science without overstating the current stage of research, and provides a uniquely practical guide to mental health as brain health. I found the attached PDF helpful, too – and her voice is delightful.

Background noise

I’m a couple of chapters in and the book itself is brilliant. I do plan to listen to the whole thing but there is a background noise, during her speech, as if the microphone is by an open fire or she has popping candy in her mouth and it’s very uncomfortable.
