Summary

She arrived into Heathrow after a difficult week at work. Her bag had been stolen. Her whole life was in there - passport, wallet, house key. When she tried to report the theft, she couldn't remember her own name. All she knew was her own address.

Now she is at the door of Tony and Laura, a young couple living in Wiltshire. She says she lives in their home. They say they have never met her before. One of them is lying. But which one?

Good twist at the end

Listened to this on audible and really enjoyed the story as it unfolded Got a little impatient towards the end when the clever heroine started to make such foolish mistakes which was obviously meant to lead to a dramatic rescue. Otherwise, a good yarn, well told.

You need to concentrate

This is a good read but you really do have to concentrate or all becomes a jumble. A young woman knocks on the door of a home she insists is hers although she cannot remember her name or where she has been. From thereon, you are taken on a long and sometimes unfathomable journey of loss, grief and ultimately, revenge. Just who is she, why have the new owners of 'her home' taken her in and as determined to discover her identity and memory as she is!!! It is a long journey but for me, a worthwhile one - but was exhausted by the end.

A Very Clever Gripping Thriller

I wasn’t sure about the first half of this book, I was tempted to delete it. I was confused at exactly where the story was heading and thought the author was going off on unnecessary tangents ........ how wrong I was. As the story progressed everything very cleverly came together in a gripping conclusion.

Suspend belief and you will enjoy

Took a while to work out where this book was heading but it is still gripping and entertaining. There are too many co-incidences but hey it’s fiction! It’s pacey and last third is pacey.

Good but far fetched

This story is a clever long drawn out story of memory and the effects of amnesia.
I liked it but there were so many far fetched coincidences that it was difficult to relate at times. That said, I enjoyed the twisted tale and persevered with it.
Narration was top.
