Summary
Includes mouth-watering recipes! Curl up with Rosie, her friends and her family as they prepare for a very special Christmas...
Rosie Hopkins is looking forward to Christmas in the little Derbyshire village of Lipton, buried under a thick blanket of snow. Her sweetshop is festooned with striped candy canes, large tempting piles of Turkish Delight, crinkling selection boxes and happy, sticky children. She's going to be spending it with her boyfriend, Stephen, and her family, flying in from Australia. She can't wait. But when a tragedy strikes at the heart of their little community, all of Rosie's plans for the future seem to be blown apart. Can she build a life in Lipton? And is what's best for the sweetshop also what's best for Rosie?
Treat yourself and your sweet-toothed friends to Jenny Colgan's heart-warming new novel. The irresistibly delicious recipes are guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit and will warm up your Christmas celebrations.

Feel good book with loveable characters!

This book was a distraction to my own busy lifestyle I got lost in the loveable characters lives and really enjoyed the story line with the developing relationships! It's light heart and such a good easy and lovely listen.

Festive fun, romance, drama and just a few tears
I'd bought this audiobook whilst listening to the last chapter of it's prequel, although you needn't have read/listened to that first as there's a brilliant run-down of it at the beginning.
This story was brilliant. The characters are sincere, lovable, complicated and frustrating in equal measures - I mean that in a nice way!
At first I found the narrator hard to follow as, I feel, she hadn't distinguished the difference between the characters' tones and voices until a few chapters into the story. After this there was no mistaking who was talking, no introductions or explanations were needed.
This is another winner from Jenny Colgan and I am looking forward to listening to another one of her books now.

Loved this! Brilliant sequel to the first!
Where does Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's up there definitely, not the best but I really enjoyed this one!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop?
The big accident and how a community pulls together, I think that was pretty heartwarming.
What does Lucy Price-Lewis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Accents! I read a book and it all seems the same, when your listening the narrator brings that extra something for the characters. Makes them all unique.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
After my last attempt at one of these...I think I'll pass!!!
Any additional comments?
Lovely festive story...which I listened to in May! Still lovely and heartwarming. If you enjoyed the first Rosie Hopkins you'll love this one!

Lovely Christmas Story
Would you consider the audio edition of Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop to be better than the print version?
Can't say as I've only listened to it, not read it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Christmas at Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop?
Lilian's lost love reappearing.
Which character – as performed by Lucy Price-Lewis – was your favourite?
She was great with all the English characters, but her Australian accents grated. I suppose people may have spoken like that in the 1930s, but no one speaks like that now.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
As above: the rediscovery of Lilian's lost love.
Any additional comments?
Book is beautifully written, and a nice story for the lead up to Christmas
