Summary
Escape to Castle Street, for a feel-good festive listen from MILLION-COPY BESTSELLER Jessica Redland.
It's the most wonderful time of the year on Castle Street, and there's a paw-some new business opening....
It had always been Tabby's dream to work with cats and an inheritance from her beloved nanna has finally made that a reality. Idyllic Castle Street in Whitsborough Bay couldn’t be a better place for pastry chef Tabby to open a cat café with her boyfriend, Leon.
But when Leon leaves her in the lurch, the pressure mounts for Tabby. With Christmas fast approaching, she has to open the café on her own – a daunting prospect, especially when she's been hiding her health issues from the ones she loves.
Faced with local resistance to the café – and somebody seemingly determined that she won’t succeed – Tabby will need her friends, family and cats more than ever to recover her broken Christmas spirit and pull together for a Christmas miracle.
Will the cat café bring the festive joy to Castle Street as Tabby had hoped or will it be a cat-astrophe? And can the magic of Christmas on Castle Street mend Tabby's broken heart as well as her business?
Join million-copy bestseller Jessica Redland for the purr-fect festive treat!

Don’t like cats don’t like coffee shops ?
Well beat. It read this. However if you choose to. It read then I promise you will be missing out on another great foray into the best shopping street in the land. Wish I could go and do my Christmas shopping there. Stopping off for a scone and a cup of tea. And the relaxing antics of the feline variety.
Jessica has once again tackled the painful and frustrating Fibromyalgia. It’s been written about in a sensitive way.
I feel this could lead to an ongoing series like hedgehog Hollows. However I’m sure Jessica has enough on her notepad. For now.
This is a great listen and guaranteed you can. BE in the company of cats without a sneeze in sight. And no
Litter trays for you either.

Purrrfect
Absolutely loved this story, which is set in the familiar surroundings of Whitsborough Bay. Tabby and her boyfriend Leon are set to open up a Cat Cafe. However things don’t go according to plan when Leon leaves Tabby in the lurch.
Broken hearted Tabby has to find away to open the cafe without Leon and faces the fact that not everyone wants or like the idea of a Cat Cafe.
Luckily Tabby’s family come to her rescue and she finds love once again with someone she’d never thought of.
I also love Lucy Brownhill who narrates.

A bit crazy cat lady for me
I normally love this author’s books but this one is not something I would read or listen to again. The main character just isn’t my sort of person. Far too cat heavy - cats talking etc - just a bit too crazy cat lady for me. Won’t put me off reading her other books though as others are great.

Brilliant!
Love love love this! Jessica has done it again and written another fabulous book. The narration was great too. I loved being back in Castle St, it was like visiting old friends and also very lovely to meet new ones. Tabby is great and with her long dream of opening a cat cafe becoming a reality, she has her doubts, things arent so easy, with her having fibromyalgia,.flare ups can be quite bad, leaving her unable to do anything so it is no wonder those doubts are there.
Tabby is stubborn and doesn't feel easy asking for help and putting on anyone. But she realises that asking for help is exactly what she needs to do.
I don't want to give anything away but you must read/listen to this and follow Tabby cat on her journey.

Purrrfect !
Thank you Jessica for this wonderful book. As someone with fibromyalgia it meant so much to me to hear it read about, you hit the nail on the head with the problems that I struggle with and have for nearly 20 years. I have had problems reading for any length of time and audible is my way of enjoying books. I have listened to all of your books and can’t wait for the next one, no pressure 😊

Good story, very inspirational
A lovely story about finding happiness in life. It's nice to see how you can try different things unless you find a job and lifestyle that suits you and makes you really happy.
About the narrator: the accent was quite heavy, and not so easy to understand. Plus, different characters sounded similar.

Purr fect tail
Lovely feel good story. Also highlighting a very misunderstood condition Fibromyalgia.
Just a point though the word fibromyalgia was mentioned way too much and l did feel at one stage Tabby was becoming a martyr to the condition. I have Fibromyalgia so understand the condition. I feel if the condition was not mentioned quite so often it would still be a great story .
Love Jessica Redland books and do hope there is another few books in the series like Hedgehog hollow 😊

Not one of my favourites (sorry)
I absolutely adore Jessica Redland and have every book. I love how easy they are to listen to and how they educate people on topics (such as cats and hedgehogs). However, that being said, I found this one very drawn out and struggled with the pace of how the story was going. I felt the whole book was very full on about fibromyalgia (which I do sympathise with people who suffer). It was very very repetitive and I just couldn't engage with it at all finding it very predictable. That being said, I would buy the next book if there were to be a sequel as I do adore JR's books immensely ❤️
