Summary
Saffy Huntley-Oliver has a secret. A secret that she is deeply ashamed of. It's not the fact that she's a serial killer in her free time. In fact, she's quite proud of that. After all she's only killing the bad men. She is making the world a better place.

Think I would have preferred the book
Sadly, the narration didn’t work for me. The American accent kept slipping to English and felt like it was read without much emotion. I feel like Saffy should have come across funnier and but that didn’t come across with the narration.

Struck gold with this one!
I genuinely laughed out loud and pulled some ridiculous faces whilst listening to this one. As I was sat next to my boss on a plane whilst listening to this book, this was somewhat awkward… Anyway- loved this book in every way possible. Narration, characterisation, storyline etc were brilliant. Smart, funny and totally absorbing 👏🏻

Sharp and sassy murderous fun
Fast paced, tense and tongue firmly in cheek. Serial-killer Saffy quickly has the listener adjusting their attitude to murder. A thoroughly enjoyable book which leaves you ready for book 2. Beautifully read.

Another masterpiece
Another masterpiece from Julie Cohen, writing as Julie mae Cohen in her first crime novel. Filled with her usual trademarks of superb characterisation, excellent attention to detail, and great plot, really enjoyed it. More please!

Brilliant storyline
Loved listening to this audiobook. Great storyline kept me interested and yes it’s dark but I found it amusing too due to Saffy’s character. The narrator was perfect for this book.

Hope this is the start of a series
It was that good, I couldn’t stop listening, I do hope there will be more books coming.
I would definitely buy the next one. Narrator was excellent and the plot moved along at a good pace.

Enjoyable and a great lead character!
I enjoyed it but didn’t love it. Saffy is a great, strong character and I enjoyed her perspective and antics. Not a challenge and therefore good fun.

Good plot idea but…
Simply too dark for me, I thought I was going to see more humour despite the topic. I am only a few chapters in and I will return the title. Probably brilliant plot and all, just not for over sensitive people like myself I suppose. Maybe I should stay for a few more chapters, but I can’t do it.
