Summary

At the fashionable French resort of Aix-les-Bains a murder is discovered: wealthy but naïve Mme Dauvray is found strangled in the salon of her villa, apparently for her famously expensive jewels. Villa Rose

A boring listen. A long winded story which could have been exciting if it was shortened and done in a logical sequence. It goes backwards and forwards, backward and forward. I knew the outcome early but continued to listen to check I was right. It’s a book of its time being written in 1910. 🙁
