A scientist on the run...

But she knows someone - the only someone - who can help her.
A plot to kill millions...
Ben Hope, ex-SAS soldier and Roberta's old flame, now trying to retire to a life of peace with his fiancée, Brooke, suddenly finds his life turned upside down by Roberta's sudden arrival in England. She needs his help; he can't turn her down. In the process they uncover a global conspiracy that will claim the lives of millions of people...unless Ben can stop it.

Yes, brilliant story telling if you like lots of action heroes.
Only if they like unbelievable action characters.
The American accent in this story was terrible!
Every time a word like 'idea' was uttered in either quigly's or Roberta Ryder's voice was said like 'idear' Americans don't bloody put r sounds on the words they speak! It's really annoying!
I love the Ben hope series but dang! Please keep to Colin mace from now on!
Yes. I have read all the books in the Ben Hope series and will persevere with the next one
It was simply unbelievable. Ben Hope is good but seems to have taken on supernatural powers. The story would be better suited to a Marvel comic. I don't want to provide any spoilers but suffice it to say I am expecting him to be able to captain a nuclear submarine in the next book.
Hardly noticed he was reading it which is the highest praise I could give. Easy to listen to voice and good with accents 1000% better than Jack Hawkins.
Scrap my plans for world domination.
Need to listen to it simply so there is continuity in the series but did not enjoy it. Enjoyed all the previous books in the series especially the ones not read by Jack Hawkins whos voice is totally wrong for this kind of book.
Found a more believable story line and avoided some of the trite SAS speak.
I can't believe that this book made it into the 'Sunday Times' top 10 bestsellers.
Fast paced full of action Ben Hope is a brilliant character
Excellent performance really brings the characters to life
Very much so it was very hard to put down
I really wish all of Scotts Ben hope books were avaliable on audible
