Aiden & Abby
The Spark Brothers have won my heart. This first book in the series features Aiden and his journey to faith and love. Aiden is a former boy band rockstar now a professor of women's studies and is in great demand. When he texts one of his students about missing a meeting, he accidentally sends the text to a popular radio dj, Abby, and she does her best to find who he is. Now both their lives are turned upside down! What will come out it? Will Aiden find his lost faith and be able to love again? Will Abby realize her plight and find a way to happiness? This series is off to a fabulous start. The characters are engaging and easy to like. I love the intricacies Liwen Y Ho has woven into this one, with the brothers and Abby's friends. And also the gift of time to help those in need. It's a fabulous listen. Low angst, heart wrenching and heart warming, you will find all the feels and come out happy.
Lorana Hoopes does a fantastic narration of this story. Each character it's own voice, easy to distinguish and enjoy. Hoopes is a great storyteller and she brings this easily to life.
