I am a woman who has been an activist and organizer on the front lines of the anti-imperialist struggle in the United States for the last 20 years. I was politicized after the bombing of the World Trade Center in 2001 because I realized how the U.S. war against Iraq would only increase racism, injustice, and violence. I have been working in nonprofit agencies that help underserved populations for most of my adult life. I am the right person to be writing this book because I want to change the rhetoric in the media to address the underlying racism, misogyny, exploitation, and subjugation of women, girls, and LGBTQ+ folks. I aim to walk the path toward true democracy by helping women finally claim equality, bodily autonomy, and, ultimately, their human rights. I am passionate about building solidarity between all struggles of poor, oppressed, and working people. We are brothers and sisters and we can support each other and win our demands together. We have much more in common with each other that we have with the ruling elite .1%. I wrote this book because I have experience and knowledge that I am passionate about sharing because I know it can help shift consciousness in all people and push the struggle forward to claim the human right of FREE ABORTION ON DEMAND WITHOUT APOLOGY for women, girls and LGBTQ+ folks, regardless of age, race, socioeconomic status, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.
