As a daughter, parent, entrepreneur, executive coach, advisor and global citizen, Samreen draws upon a rich and diverse tapestry of tangible experience to generate distinctive insight into what it really takes to succeed as an authentic leader without compromise. Going far beyond checklists of ‘do’s and don’ts’ deficient in context, her customised and deeply profound work has catalysed thousands of individuals and teams worldwide to truly and deliberately harness more of their ‘whole’ selves in their role as a leader and contribution as a team. Working with countless household name brands throughout a 25-year career, Samreen is passionate about those she works with, directly and via this book. Her interventions lead to extraordinary step-changes in their performance as leaders and individuals without needing to accept personal self-sacrifice to do so, directly benefiting organisations systemically. Half Venezuelan and half Indian, Samreen has lived, studied and worked in Latin America, the US and Europe. She holds a BA in Political Science, MSc in Business Systems Analysis and Design, and PGDip in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is a Hult Ashridge accredited coach and a trained practitioner of Dr Eli Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints. Professionally trained in Organisational Behaviour and Systems Thinking during her time at Hult Ashridge business school, with further development from Metanoia Institute, Samreen continues to extend her repertoire into Naturopathic Medicine practices to more consciously facilitate the health and wellbeing of leaders and organisational cultures. Samreen, her husband, two children and two very energetic dogs live on the outskirts of London, England, where she balances her academic and professional pursuits with her commitment to making choices that promote good health, a love of travel, photography and writing.
