Robin Lippincott is the author of six books, most recently BLUE TERRITORY: A MEDITATION ON THE LIFE AND ART OF JOAN MITCHELL, and RUFUS + SYD, a novel for young adults co-written with Julia Watts. BLUE TERRITORY is also available as an audio book, read by Tandy Cronyn. Born and raised in the South, Robin is also the author of the novels IN THE MEANTIME, OUR ARCADIA, and MR. DALLOWAY, as well as the short story collection, THE 'I' REJECTED. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in over thirty journals, including "The Paris Review," "Fence," "American Short Fiction," "The New York Times Book Review," and many others, as well as in the anthologies UNBROKEN CIRCLE: STORIES OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE SOUTH, M2M: NEW LITERARY FICTION, REBEL YELL and REBEL YELL 2. Robin's fiction has been nominated for the IMPAC-Dublin Literary Award, the Independent Book Award, the Pushcart Prize, the American Library Association Roundtable Award, and the Lambda Literary Award.
