RAY BENTLEY, pastor, prophecy expert, and author, served as Maranatha Chapel’s senior pastor until the Lord called him home on January 4, 2022. Today the church serves over 7,000 people, with numerous programs and teaching for all age levels, including a thriving K-12 school. His close relationships with Israelis and Palestinians gave him a rare perspective on the involvement of Jews, Arabs, and Christians in prophetic events to come. He is remembered as a popular biblical teacher and speaker. His messages brought Scripture to life, including surprising insights in the study of ancient prophecies and the Hebrew roots of our faith. He spoke around the world, including India, England, Scotland, Australia, Ireland, Africa, China, and the Philippines. As the founding pastor of Maranatha Chapel and host of the daily Maranatha Radio program, broadcast nationally and internationally, he can still be heard around the world. He authored eleven books, including the five-part Elijah Chronicles and The Holy Land Key: Unlocking End-Times Prophecy Through the Lives of God's People in Israel. Ray and Vicki Bentley were happily married for 45 years; they have two grown children and seven grandchildren.
