L. L. Thrasher is the author of four mystery novels, including Charlie's Bones, which won the Spotted Owl Award, an annual award given by the Portland (OR) Friends of Mystery. She recently published No Turning Back, a compilation of six short stories, including "Sacrifice," which was an Edgar Award Nominee for Best Short Story. All four novels are also available as audiobooks from Books in Motion. L. L. Thrasher lives in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. She has lived in twelve other states and has traveled to or through all the states except Hawaii (it's on her bucket list). She recently retired from a long-time position at a public library. Previous jobs include telephone operator, USPS postal clerk, police radio dispatcher, and public school speech therapist. She enjoys attending stage plays and other live performances (Cirque du Soleil is her favorite). She also enjoys reading books, and, of course, writing.
