Kate McLachlan is the award-winning author of the RIP time-travel series. The first book in the series, "Rip Van Dyke", won two Goldie Awards from the Golden Crown Literary Society, a literary organization created for the enhancement of lesbian literature. "Rescue at Inspiration Point" and "Return of an Impetuous Pilot" are the next books in the series. Kate also writes mysteries, including "Hearts, Dead and Alive" and "Murder and the Hurdy Gurdy Girl," and romance in "Christmas Crush," which was a Lambda Literary Finalist for 2014. Her newest mystery, "Ten Little Lesbians" was released in July 2015. Kate's wife, Tonie Chacon, is also a writer. Her novel, "Struck! A Titanic Love Story" was released in April 2015. They live in Eastern Washington with their two dogs and two cats. They are great fans of women's basketball and look forward all year to the college basketball season. Go ZAGS!
