Jennifer DeValue, is a budding writer, incorrigible nerd, and devoted educator who earned her Bachelor of Arts in German and International Studies from Susquehanna University and her Master's of Divinity from United Lutheran Seminary. From an early age Jennifer was aware of her spiritual aptitudes and passions while participating in all manner of youth events, leadership positions, and educational opportunities through her church. These experiences, coupled with what can only be described as a preordained devotion to the German language, in which a great deal of theological works are written, is what led her to seek ordination in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. As her journey continued, however, Jennifer found that her gift for writing and talent for education was leading her in a less traditional direction. She is overjoyed to finally be pursuing her dreams of authorship as part of a global community of theologians, educators, comic book nerds, and gamers. In addition to partnering with CZYK Publishing on her part of the “50 Things to Know” series, Jennifer recently had her debut Fantasy Web Novel “In the Times After and The Lands Between” greenlit by Tales: Choose Your Own Story. Jennifer is also a contributing writer for the Real Women of Gaming community and boasts a modest yet tightknit TikTok following that spans topics including applied theology, film/literary/television analysis, and social justice.
