James Blatch is a former BBC Defence Correspondent and a former BBFC Film Examiner. His first three novels are set in and around the world of military aviation during the Cold War. His forthcoming series will be Cold War espionage thrillers set in the 1970s. James Blatch's father, Squadron Leader John R. Blatch, AFC was a Royal Air Force test pilot.
