Harry Maurer has been involved in one of the most unique and difficult businesses to succeed in— Harry is a professional entertainer, and surprisingly, unlike many in his field, since he was a child he has never held another job. As a much-in-demand entertainer, he travels the world extensively performing in casino showrooms in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, entertaining in luxury resorts in exotic places and thrilling audiences aboard the very top cruise lines around the world! Much of his success has to do not just with his ability to consistently entertain audiences, but his knowledge and expertise at marketing himself, and like any solo-entrepreneur he needed to find very specific tools to make his business grow. There was a logical process he would follow to find programs to help his business. First he would explore free and low-cost options. If they did what he wanted them to do, he would then consider upgrading to more expensive versions from the developer. If they did not perform up to his expectations, he would find better programs from other vendors having a better idea of what he was looking for. After spending thousands of dollars on programs, software and services and after sharing these tools with friends, groups and organizations, he had a revelation and determined that if for some reason he had to start a business from scratch— or wanted to help a struggling business succeed— these are the programs and resources he would use. Each of the resources in this book are free or low cost, but they are all highquality programs that do exactly what they are supposed to do (and many of these programs he is still using today!). Harry Maurer continues to entertain internationally throughout the year and between his award-winning performances, he schedules engaging lectures around the country. As he finds more interesting programs, he shares them with his followers.
