Dahlia was born in Michigan to Italian Immigrants and always loved returning to Italy every year as a child to visit her extended family. Growing up she always helped her Mother in the Kitchen prepare dishes for the family and developed a skill for Crafts. When returning to Italy on a annual visit she will help her Grandmother in the Garden planting and pulling weeds. Dahlia also was very close to her 'nonna' loved making Crafts with her and would try different craft ideas, after dinner As Dahlia grew up and went to College she studied the Arts and also Communication. She Decided to start Penning some of her childhood experiences making Crafts which Resulted in many books about Crafts and Gardening.
