Andrea Bindella was born in Perugia and lives in Assisi. At the age of twelve he begins writing his first novel, a science fiction book called “The Return of the Furies”, "published" in a notebook, one of those used in the school. While writing as a hobby, after completing the high school education, he continues his Bachelor's degree in the Department of Civil Engineering. As the reconstruction works following the earthquake occurred in 1997 in Umbria begins, Andrea decides to leave the university to work as surveyor and help his region after those tragic events. He continues to write novels keeping them secret, convinced that their quality level is not sufficient to be proposed to a wider audience than his own family. When the financial crisis of 2008 overwhelms his professional sector and everything seems lost, Andrea finds his strength and support in writing: he understands that there is no time for self-pity and that a lot of work needs to be done. Writing leads him to a continuous discovery and inner growth; Andrea shares his thoughts regarding everyday life, always trying to broaden his mind and satisfy his insatiable curiosity. He spends his free time cooking, listening to rock, pop and jazz music and taking long walks immersed in the sound of winter sea undertow. In 2017 he discovers the self-publishing; this opportunity helps him find the strength to publish his stories. «In my novels there are my passions and my experiences. I always try to write what I would like to read as a reader. While writing, I try to completely immerse myself in the story, I almost feel like daydreaming. In fact I am so fond of the characters in my novels that every time I finish writing, I am always in a bad mood: it's like losing friends you have shared your day with for months that suddenly disappear» Andrea says in an interview with “Sole e Luna Blog”.
