Alex Wade is a writer, lawyer and journalist. He is the author of non-fiction books on surfing, boxing and football, as well as a novel, Flack's Last Shift. Born in Chiswick, west London, Alex is a lifelong QPR fan. Thanks to his upbringing in Devon, Alex has also enjoyed swimming, surfing and windsurfing for most of his life. The years he spent boxing are less easy to explain. Alex is the CEO of a specialist media law firm, Reviewed and Cleared, and currently lives in Menton in the south of France.
