Summary

'A fast-paced thriller with clever twists' Bella
Something bad happened last night. My best friend Posey is dead. The police think it was a tragic accident. I know she was murdered.
I’ve woken up with the hangover from hell, a stranger in my bed, and I’ve gone viral for the worst reasons.
There’s only one thing stopping me from dying of shame. I need to find a killer.
But after last night, I can’t remember a thing…

Fabulous second novel
Just like the first one, some really gritty and well written narrative. Loved the characters. Really well fought out. One of the best openings I’ve ever read in a book! And the narrator was on the whole excellent (I’ve still given it five even though there were a couple of really badly mispronounced words). Katy’s writing more than makes up for it.

Took a while to warm up but it had me in the end
A little bizarre but I really enjoyed it. It was perplexing that the death was dismissed without full investigation. Also for the police to ignore the obvious raoe is not realistic after all of the training they have had in recent years.

The performance was great. Story was good, a few things were predictable but also a good chunk kept me on my toes. It’s a fun read- great for a holiday.

Very Dark
I thought this would be like a cozy murder mystery. It was not. So dark and depressing, but well written with characters who seem real. Just jarring with the intense sadness of it all, the mysteries throughout kept me hooked though. I just wish it weren’t so grim, but it is what it is.
