Lots of satisfying twists
Excellent characterisation which had me switching allegiances and sympathy throughout. I liked the calmness of the officers next to the emotionality of the families. One of my favourite writers.

Jumping in time to build the story was very well-conceived
It took a while to get me gripped, but certainly got there. Beautifully read by the narrator (Clare Corbett?)
