The man on the bed barely moved. His lids fluttered, his lashes brushing the puffy dark shadows under his eyes. It seemed to take a huge amount of effort for Ivan to open them. He spoke in a voice that was barely above a husky whisper, the words hissing through his yellow teeth. "Are you here to gloat at the dying murderer, Dr Quinn?" The Mermaid Killer is dying, so who is responsible for the body of a young woman floating face up in the lake?

with plenty of twists and turns, once again Molly Garcia has written an excellent addition to the Ethan Quinn series. With excellent, well defined characters who interact perfectly it keeps you on the edge of your seat and guessing as to who is responsible to the very end. They are all brought to life by the top notch narration of Grant Love, who also makes good use of SFX to enhance the listening experience. Roll on book 10!
I was kindly sent a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

I love Molly Garcia's stories, great plot, lots of suspense that had me guessing from start to finish, this did not disappoint. With the return of Dr Ethan Quinn doing what he does best following the twist and turns against him this was a very pleasing listen from start to finish. I love how many characters have been drawn in to the stories and every book follows their path which I have enjoyed to learn, I held my breath when Steve had an incident, amazing how he was entwined through out the story. I do hope we get further stories and to top them off we have the narration by Grant Love, I could list to the smooth comforting voice all day long.

Another Great Listen

The story is absolutely captivating with plenty of suspense and surprises, but what makes me like this book so much are the characters, their interactions, and the way they are brought to life by the narrator, Grant Love. A must-listen!
