It’s December, and while everyone around them is planning for Christmas, it’s business as usual for DCI Kevin Greggs and his team. A body has been found in a flat, and Kevin has promised to look into a missing person for the new station administrator. The investigation takes them deep into the world of the homeless community. Someone appears to be targeting the most vulnerable, but the question is, why?

I love this series, you get to know the main characters, I liked that it was digging into their personal lives so we got to know the characters better. And as always the narration was easy to listen to, I could listen to kis voice all day. Well worth given the full series the time.

Great listen

This was very respectful but also made me think - very timely at Christmas but can be listened to at any time. This is part of a series but could be listened to alone but you get more out of it understanding the characters and how they have developed.
I had to keep listening to it as it really did make me think about society and how we treat homeless people.

Very thought provoking

This eighth instalment in the Ethan Quinn series is, in my opinion, the best yet. From start to finish, it’s gripping, edge-of-your-seat listening that never lets up. All our favourite characters return, along with a few intriguing new additions that fit seamlessly into the story. Grant Love’s narration is spot on. His performance brings the tension and emotion to life, and the sound effects are used perfectly throughout, without being distracting. A highly recommended listen.
Many thanks to the Narrator for the review copy of the book.
