Jackson Blackwell, the Shadow Master, is back and lo, the multiverse shall tremble. Why? For someone dared to kidnap his daughter.

A standard villainy consultation in a sci-fi dimension turns tragic when a space pirate sneak attack leaves Jackson stranded on a remote planet. Worse, the pirates took Evie. Worse still… he’s stuck with Randy! Hmm, is that worse? Eh… doesn’t matter, because Jackson will use his devious and deadly tricks to escape, assemble his team, and find those responsible.

VILLAINS DECEPTION is the award-winning third installment of the Shadow Master Saga where Jackson and his crew of malicious malcontents go on a road trip! Er, well… a space trip? (Look, this time we’re mocking sci-fi, so you know, just go with it.)

This thrilling, hilarious, and oddly touching piece of fantastic fiction finds Jackson hopping dimensions, fighting the forces of light and shadow, and even taking on an entire pantheon of pissed-off gods.

It’s a hoot.

Loved the first 2 books. Hated this.
It bounced all over the place and characters I liked, well...

I just didn't enjoy this storyline and gave up before the end. Tried it twice, but just kept getting angry at it.

While I can't say I was a fan of the ending, even if it was hinted at in the first half of the book, this was an enjoyable story and still managed to get a few laughs out of me. Jeffery Kafer was great as always, and the special guest scenes were brilliant.
If you liked the first two books then getting this one is a no-brainer.

Fun as always

funny as always.
I also like the fact that writer wrote itself into the book.
Will definitely give technomancer a look.

I sincerely hope there is a fourth book.

I enjoyed it, but ending felt like a little bit of a rush job. I don't think it is as funny as the first 2 books but still worth a listen.

pretty good

Hmm...how do i say this
Bruh i was not expecting that. As usual A+ for the narrators ( Yes this includes Karren too...i agree with you Matt Damon rules). The story this time was better than the last and it had me on the edge of my seatvthe whole time. and after this I am convinced M.K Gibson is actually evil. well done sir well done.
