I’m so disappointed. It was really hard to enjoy this story as the female narrator was so poor. The accent was ridiculous but when she did male voices it was actually laughable. I don’t know how anyone got through it. So disappointed to see they used the same narrator for all the following books too despite so many negative reviews. I obviously won’t be carrying on the story on audiobook.

The story is great but the male narrator is rubbish. The way he speaks is so annoying.

I loved this book! Great story about love and danger in the different fae kingdoms. The songbird and the serpent! 🥰

It takes a while for the story to build but I liked the different characters and the dual narration.
I hadn't realised when I purchased the book that it was a spin-off from the Broken Kingdom series. Having not read this I have no idea if it has much bearing on the story. Looking forward to book two.
