Georgette Heyer
An historical romance set in London and the English countryside with remarkable nuance and descriptions about dress, parties, houses, men and women and their dealings with each other, with special insights into marriage. A wonderful ode to our better selves and what we can be if we move beyond the bumps and bruises in life.

A total waste of money
Deaver Brown cannot tell a story to save his life, he stutters, stammers & pronounces incorrectly
His accent is totally wrong for regency England
He just reads the book with no attempt to act out the different characters
The twinkling tune in the background totally destroys any concentration on the story
Never again, I have all the Georgette Heyer books in audible & paper back
This recording is an insult
Atrocious
