It’s early fall, and the weather coincides perfectly with the opening of a local tea house, Chai Froth. Amateur sleuth and Search and Rescue dog trainer, Eve has been a devoted customer of The Granite Mug, but she and Aidan decide to check out the newly opened shop early one morning before work, and they absolutely fall in love with it.

Unfortunately, it seems as though Chai Froth’s early success may be short lived, however, when one of its employees goes missing just days after the shop’s opening. The sheriff asks for Eve’s help when there’s an anonymous report that someone may have hidden a body in a new construction site.

The unfortunate part…is that the location is right next to the house where the owner of The Granite Mug, the tea house’s biggest competitor, lives.

When Atlas locates the victim, Eve fears that either Chloe or her mother, the owners of The Granite Mug, might be responsible for the murder. If not, someone is clearly trying to frame them, and they might be in danger themselves.

Bubble tea! Who knew Eve would love it as much as the coffee she drank every morning. Now she has an option for each morning to enjoy with her boyfriend Aiden. But not only does the new tea shop serve her new favorite drink, but she is asked to bring in the dogs to find one of their employees! The catch with all of it is the body is found in the construction site next to the Granite Mug, her favorite coffee shop! Atlas does his job, and now it's time to find the killer. Could it be one of the owners of the coffee or tea shop? This is fun mystery as so much is revealed about the owners of different businesses in town. So many twists and turns, it was a good time as I tried to decide who was the guilty party. A great addition of the series.

Julie McKay. I can't say enough good things about her narration. Every installment brings new people and a new voice for each one. Every installment has returning characters that bring the same voices that I have come to know and enjoy! Love her and her performance.
