On his own turf in L.A., PI Elvis Cole is embroiled in a controversial, high-profile murder case.

A wealthy restaurateur is accused of murdering his wife and his hot-shot defence lawyer hires Cole to find proof that the detective on the case, Angela Rossi, fooled around with the evidence. Yet as Elvis investigates Rossi for the defence team, he begins to be more suspicious of the media-loving lawyers than the cops.

And as the investigation continues, Cole is drawn deeper and deeper into the intrigue and dangers surrounding the case of the missing woman.

Would you listen to Sunset Express again? Why?

This was a good read, but I found it difficult to hear as it faded in and out.
The plot was very good as always.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Elvis Cole as always the professional detective

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no, I read these book while commuting to work so I am unable to listen to it all in one go.

another good entry to the cole/pike series, but this is let down massivley by the narration. The narrator is ok, but the sound quality is really poor - at first i thought it was my headphones but it's as if the narrator was not speaking into the microphone but instead was on the other side of the room. also when the action starts, the narration doubles in speed - hoping the next entry is better

Great book - poor narration
