Edge will conquer the Savage Garden or die trying.

While Edge was returning from his latest adventure, Puppet Town received a quest from the System that would either help the settlement survive or seal its fate.

If they can clear a deadly dungeon packed to the brim with powerful monsters and defeat the boss lurking in the final chamber, the settlement can start producing cores for its residents, boosting their odds of overcoming the ordeals to come.

It won’t be easy. A bloodthirsty gang known as the Crimson Claws received the quest, too. Edge and his friends will find themselves locked in a race against time—forced to battle elite predators of both the monstrous and human variety as they look for a way to take down the stage-three boss looming in the distance.

Book 2 of an action packed LitRPG adventure set in a world where artifacts known as Cores let their bearers wield the planet’s magic, and where Skills grant superhuman abilities and kaiju roam the wilds. It's perfect for fans of Solo Leveling, The Primal Hunter, and 1% Lifesteal!

This book flows seamlessly from the first, with enjoyable character development and a good continuation of the story. The pacing can be slow at times, but those moments help show his growth, skills, and the grind behind becoming stronger.

The action scenes are great, dynamic and exciting, and I really enjoyed watching him learn about his new body and surroundings while fighting for his life, growing stronger,

My main issue is that some chapters can be overly wordy, with certain points being explained multiple times. There’s a bit of unnecessary fluff that could be trimmed.

Overall, it’s a really good story with great progression, action, and world-building. I enjoyed it.

Now onto the next book

fight scenes are well-described, dynamic, however!

Second half was good, first half was almost a complete waste of time. So much filler & a single voice style used for every character without minor individual changes. Sounded like AI...
