The war for Puppet Town rages on.

Edge has conquered the Savage Garden and claimed the core manufactory for Puppet Town, but the conflict with the Crimson Claws has entered a deadly new stage.

A brutal band of jailbirds has besieged the expedition, trapping them underground. A second warband has gathered on the Ivory Plain, preparing to invade the settlement. Edge must fight to save his friends and defend his new home, taking on an elite gang of killers armed with powerful cores and lethal skills, led by the infamous warlord, Yussuf the Red.

Time is running out as the situation spirals toward an all-out war between prisoners and hunters, and only one side will live to tell the tale.

Book 3 of an action packed LitRPG adventure set in a world where artifacts known as Cores let their bearers wield the planet’s magic, and where Skills grant superhuman abilities and kaiju roam the wilds. It's perfect for fans of Solo Leveling, The Primal Hunter, and 1% Lifesteal!

Book 3 continues the story with great progression and an enjoyable main character. I like that he isn’t immediately overpowered and that his strength feels earned through steady progression.

He’s also ridiculously unlucky, which makes his journey even more entertaining. Every time things start going his way, something seems to go wrong!

The filler from the previous book also feels much more reduced, making this one flow better. The action, progression, and storyline are all great, and I’m looking forward to seeing him take on the other unique core users in the next books.

Overall, a fantastic continuation. Can’t wait for the next book!

These books are so well written and the narrator is captivating. I can't wait for book 4 and to see what Edge can steal next. I hope it's not a long wait. These are the best litrpg books I've possibly ever listened to!

Can't stop listening

While I enjoyed the entire story I hope at least half of the next book is more normal I'm less racing from one fight to the next.

hopes for the future

Between the writing and the narration this series has quickly tipped over into painfully annoying, with the worst kind of OP main character who’s constantly getting his ego stroked for how amazing he is 🙄 utterly nauseating & childish

Just annoying
