Humanity on the run. Desperate base building. Dark deeds done during daylight.

Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining.

As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough. In Ardania, the human Kingdom is seeing an unprecedented influx of people. Supply and demand is an issue no matter where you go, as a civilization of a few million can't prepare to accept an eighth of Earth's inhabitants at once.

Joe sets out to solve problems where he can, but he can't be there for everyone...especially when a group of smiling enforcers are working to bring him down.

Great listen. The story keeps jogging along at a nice pace. If you love dad jokes (I do) then you’ll be entertained. The characters are engaging. I’m kind of light weight these days and like the good to win out in the end without too much heart ache and torment. I like to be uplifted and this does that. The same applies to all the books up to this stage but I felt I’d write a review now as it was a Christmas listen and this was my gift to the author… Go me ;-) !!!

Entertaining listen

So I was really looking forward to this book, i just finished the others again and was a little shocked to hear Luke Daniels .... This was not a bad thing. I like him and his voice acting, i think for me it was a shame that the previous was replaced as i really liked him too.

Having said all that.. the book and story its self was great. some what shorter that i would have liked, maybe a bit of a filler rather than a solid part of the story line, but that does not mean that i didnt enjoy it.

I'm looking forward to the next book! I would like to have known a bit more about whats happening on earth, but im going to guess thats what going to come up in the next book!

Great job as always!

Still awesome.. even with unexpected changes!

Is a beast of a man who can out perform the best of them. I will always choose to listen to his narrations.

However, that doesn't come close to how much I love the pun king himself, Dakota Krout. Another amazing story that will make me look forward to the next!

Like Daniels

while this might be pop Sci fi, fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it the ribald humour and how the main character is levelling up and functioning as a clear favoured hero. interested to see how the back on earth plot thread will proceed

guilty pleasure I'm gonna consume the whole series
