An Epic Fantasy LitRPG Adventure

Resources? Zilch. Shelter? Ha. Monsters? Hungry, and closing in.

Joe the Ritualist fled Alfheim with the remnants of the Dwarven Oligarchy at his side. Though the hairy warriors number in the tens of thousands, they stand at the brink of extinction; and the new world they landed on isn’t pulling any punches. Jotunheim is a winter wonderland featuring a vast array of monsters: the least of which are hulking lizard-ape Hoardlings, and carnivorous penguins standing a dozen feet tall.

The world is massive, deadly, and empty: But all Joe sees is free real estate. Thanks to Specializing in magics that allow him to rapidly create buildings, the Ritualist starts carving out a defensible area for his allies. Dense walls, workshops that churn out weapons and armor, even magical edifices that rain death upon the swarming creatures. Being so new to the world, they mistakenly believe that expanding quickly equals safety.

But on the world of giants, ramping up production just means ringing a bigger dinner bell.

I listened to the series so far and grew to love the story. It is worth the listen and i am waiting for the next book in the series.

I love the story, but the narration takes the cake

In Jotunheim's chill, where frost winds do blow,
Joe's brilliance and daring, a tale to bestow.
With allies by his side, a divide yet to come,
In Book 9's icy world, where battles will be won.

As they brace for challenges, courage in their defense,
Giant leaps await them, a puzzling suspense.
In audiobook's embrace, the narrator's voice sublime,
"The Completionist Chronicles," a brilliant, wintery rhyme.

Brilliant Twists Amid Frost: Book 9's Icy Defense

it took me a little to get back into to the story as it had been a while but when it clicked I remember why I love the series.

Jackson remains my favourite character but they are all very enjoyable. this book brings in sin game mechanics I haven't seen in litrpg and works then well.

I absolutely love this author. His books are such fun to listen to. Love the characters and settings. They will not win noble prizes for literature but i don’t care.

Cannot wait for next one.
