From the author of the international best-selling Tudor Trilogy, the story of the Tudor dynasty continues with the daughter of King Henry VII, sister to King Henry VIII.

Mary Tudor watches her elder brother become King of England and wonders what the future holds for her. Born into great privilege, Mary has beauty and intelligence beyond her years and is the most marriageable princess in Europe.

Henry plans to use her marriage to build a powerful alliance against his enemies. Will she dare risk his anger by marrying for love? Meticulously researched and based on actual events, this 'sequel' follows Mary's story from book three of the Tudor Trilogy and is set during the reign of King Henry VIII.

This book is first-rate. Mary’s tale is brought to life in a wholly realistic and imaginative way. It’s both educational and entertaining and I will try this author’s other books. The Narrator should also be commended - she tells the story in an engaging and totally credible way. Well done, both!

Excellent story, very well presented

This was a lovely novel to listen to. I have recently listened to many novels on the Tudor period, but I was intrigued to find out more of the beautiful Mary Tudor, sister to Henry VIII, and Queen of France. This has been so well researched and written and beautifully narrated. I loved it, not only was it educational and very interesting but it was also very relaxing to listen to too. I have already purchased the rest of Tony Riches novels. I want to find out more of Margaret Beaufort, Henry VII's Mother, and her first husband Edmund Tudor, so his father Owen Tudor by this author will be my next listen. 👑📚🤍

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, one of the best books for a while.
The narrator was good but terrible at the male roles, but as the book was so good I can’t complain
Highly recommend this book well worth a listen

Mary's history is fascinating so I was looking forward to reading this book but this tale is so sugar coated and unrealistic that I was disappointed.

Disappointing
