Someone has a secret. A secret worth killing for....

When a series of suicides, linked to the Wellness Spirit Centre, turn out to be murder, it brings together DCI Whitney Walker and forensic psychologist Dr Georgina Cavendish for another investigation. But as they delve deeper, they come across a tangle of secrets and the very real risk that the killer will strike again.

As the clock ticks down, the only way forward is to infiltrate the centre. But the outcome is disastrous, in more ways than one.

For fans of Angela Marsons, Rachel Abbott and M A Comley, Lethal Secret is the fourth book in the Cavendish & Walker crime fiction series.

Includes a special bonus note from the author.

"Narrator Clare Corbett flawlessly creates the accents and setting of Lenchester, England, while introducing Detective Chief Inspector Whitney Walker and her polar opposite, psychologist Georgina Cavendish.... Corbett's best creation is pathologist Clare Dexter whose eccentricities add a bit of levity. The well-rendered step-by-step procedural, with its gripping conclusion, makes for an exceptional listen." (AudioFile Magazine, review of Cavendish & Walker)

I have really enjoyed listening to this series as part of my membership. I don’t always write a review but felt I should to counteract the other review that criticises the performance. I don’t agree. I am a fan of the narrator and I get immersed in the story with her use of different accents and voices for the characters. Delivery is great in my opinion. I am getting a little too good at figuring out who dunnit early on which is the only reason I dropped to 4 stars for the story. Overall, I have very much enjoyed these books.

I have really come to enjoy the Walker and Cavendish series. It is well written and well read, giving a true voice to the differences in Walker and Cavendish. I was shocked with aspects of this story and look forward to the next. Thank you for writing and I hope everyone else enjoys them as much as I do.

Great book as expected

Suddenly a completely unrelated ending is appended yo this tepid story Lacks punch and credibility

Ridiculous Ch 38

I did not find the story so enthralling as the previous ones in the series. Perhaps it is the Cult theme that is too predictable. However the narrator was as good as ever and a pleasure to listen to.
