Ex-CIA assassin Court Gentry thought he could find refuge living in the Amazon rain forest. But his bloody past finds him when a vengeful Russian crime lord forces him to go on the run once again. Court makes his way to one of the only men in the world he can trust - and arrives too late. His friend is dead and buried.

Years before, Eddie Gamboa had saved Court's life. Now, Eddie has been murdered by the notorious Mexican drug cartel he fought to take down. And Court soon finds himself drawn into a war he never wanted. But in this war, there are no sides - only survivors....

OK so a bit, well a lot, over the top, once again superman, Reacher, Bond and Rambo combine to perform amazing and impossible feats of derring-do but love it or hate it if you want pure escapism this is for you

Easy listening escapism

Another brilliant instalment in the Gray Man series. This time Court ends up trying to help the family of a good friend who met a tragic end. Up against him is a very powerful drugs baron, with a seemingly unending reach.
Ballistic kept me engaged right from the word go, and I found this very hard to put down. The Gray Man series has (so far) been superbly compelling, and utterly action packed all the way through. Brilliant..
Superb narration from Jay Snyder.
