From Mark Greaney, The New York Times best-selling author of Gunmetal Gray and a coauthor of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan novels, comes a high-stakes thriller featuring the world's most dangerous assassin: the Gray Man.

Court Gentry's flight on a CIA transport plane is interrupted when a security team brings a hooded man aboard. They want to kick Gentry off the flight but are overruled by CIA headquarters. The mystery man is being transported to England where a joint CIA/MI6 team will interrogate him about a mole in Langley.

When they land in an isolated airbase in the UK, they are attacked by a hostile force who kidnaps the prisoner. Only Gentry escapes. His handlers send him after the attackers, but what can one operative do against a trained team of assassins? A lot, when that operative is the Gray Man.

I don't like to be critical, everyone has to make a living... here comes the but...just read the reviews, this narrator is a joke, Saa Ville, Brom Which... it goes on, the authors commentary on the accent is interesting just before the narrator makes a liar or him...the American bits are fine, he should stick to that

appalling narration

Being British I found. The accents jarring especially pronunciation of place and street names. His cockney is a bit Dick van Dyke and Scottish non existent. Having said that the story is not bad.

Unusually poor narration.

This was action packed. As usual the non-American accents by the narrator were laugh out loud funny at times, but I’m kinda used to that with this series

Non-stop

I’ve listened to all previous grey man books and thought this to be one of the best. Court is a more rounded character when he has positive relationships and isn’t so desperately lonely. I really like the character of Zoya so hope she appears in later books. Jay Snider’s narration is usually excellent but Zoya’s accent varied too much in this audiobook.

Best in series?

i've been enjoying the gray man since i discovered him in the bargain section and have now listened up to date on this one, the strangely enjoyable part is Jay Snyder's appalling pronunciation of place names such as Edinburgh and his OTT British accents, but you know what? i wouldn't have it any other way 🙂 keep up the good work!

A great story, with a strangely enjoyable quirk
