I enjoyed this a lot, the story was spicy and hot and very steamy. The narrator did a good job but not great. He was brilliant as a male narrator, his breathy moments and emotion was careful and passionate. Emotion came through with his words, anger, pain, joy and need… but like most male voice actors, his female voice was not quite right.
I really enjoyed the plot, the characters and the world too.

This is one of my favourite omegaverse books. It really turns the genre on its head by having omegas as the more powerful ones in society, with alphas kept locked up. I also really like the fact that it focuses on the emotions of the characters and their developing bond, which makes for an enthralling read. It’s very well written, with lots of romance and chemistry between the main characters. I have read it several times already and have it on my ‘keeper’ shelf. Unfortunately, I found the narration quite disappointing - not very expressive and lacking intonation. It’s such a shame that it doesn’t do the story justice.
